Hi Useless Me,
Sorry that you felt you needed to vent this out into the forums; generally, talking about admin issues of this nature is not allowed in the community, as it violates our community guidelines.
I'll make an exception in this case, however, to clarify why the community support team had issues with two recent things of yours.
The first was a photo that the team judged a little too graphic for our site. We take these kinds of things on a case-by-case basis, and sometimes we're going to err on the side of protecting other members from triggering material, rather than freedom of expression. Why? Because you can post such photos on a million different places online, so don't need to do so here. And you can share such photos with your friends here privately if you so choose (and they're okay with seeing such things beforehand).
As for the posting, it was less clear-cut, but some members of the team felt it was violating the spirit of the self-injury forum. In situations like that, if you disagree with the team's decision, you're welcomed to bring it directly to my attention. I won't necessarily overturn the team's decision, but I will try and explain it better as to why something was decided the way it was.
With over 900 contributions to the community, I do hope you understand that you are a valued member of this community. These actions were not personally directed at you, but just trying to weigh your needs with the needs of keeping our community safe.
Best,
DocJohn
