honestly. i said screw school. end of story. i dropped out middle of 9th grade....emotional abuse came from not being able to do math, or homework or pay attention....just not interested. i got into independent study (one day a week to pick up and drop off work) first time in my life i ever got straight A's....but A.D.D. is harsh and turns out getting there when i was supposed to (being homeless at that time) got me dropped. got my GED. OMG. 3 hour test vs the misery of highschool!?!?! could i have had a chance to choose that instead of public ed? ooooof course not. jerks.

moral of the story is, you need to be interested and find significant reason to do an assignment. reports/projects are more interesting and offer creative outlets that allow you to shine (instead of get detention for no homework) but still......i only occasionally completed something assigned. i did a report of PA for a state report coz the presentation required us to cook/buy a food from the state....yah...mine was the hershey's state...so i was the popular one for once. HAHA. anyway. talk to you teachers about the reasonable accomodations they're supposed to make for those of us with our heads up our butts.
