Absorb yourself in a documentary or "life movie" so that your mind removes itself from the life you currently live and you realize the vast size and number of people in this world.
While we will forever carry our opinions, worries and moods with us wherever we go, if you perhaps watch a movie or film that discusses the theme of human survival (physical, psychological and/or emotional), you will realize your boredom or worries may shift and distract towards the basic instinct within us and challenge ourselves to question what we would do in those situations.
This is why Oscar films, zombie apocalypse movies and documentaries are hailed amongst general society. Allow yourself to be consumed by an emotion for some time and perhaps the boredom will pass and your newly formed thoughts will stimulate the creativity to go and do something.
Or maybe not. Sometimes this works for me.
Or maybe stretch. Stimulate your body.
