sadly Jan you share that with many ppl.....not knowing normal if it hit them in the face!
it is a graphic thought and funny how reality is described as: stark, harsh, unvarnished, etc. reality, when one exists in a non-reality, reality in contrast can be harsh, bright, pointy and uncomfortable when first encountered.
the more time one spends in a shared reality (meaning shared by a general public) the better chance of not slipping back into the unreality in one's head.
DID and DIDNOS and other dissociative disorders can make life most challenging for those of us dxd with such. We're sure others share the challenges of life but just not quite in the same challenging ways as those of us with dissociative issues.
here's to uncovering NORMAL and finding a version that fits you.......and versions for all as dwelling in unrealities tends to prolong the pain and create more chaos.
