That kind of fear must be terrible for you. I agree with Pilatus, talking to your mom now is so very important. Whether your mom goes in the next few years or lives to a ripe old age, having the memories of how close you two can be and what you talked about now, will be something you will cherish your whole life.

I lost my mom when I was 25. I'm 51 now and I still miss her. But I do love the memories of our times together. It helps to heal my heart to think of them.

I hope you can both be there for each other. And maybe she'll be able to help you not be so fearful. Good luck dear!
