I don't think it's anything as exotic as that. However, one of the things I find absolutely fascinating is how biology is able to harness quantum mechanics to function. For instance, how fireflies utilize quantum dots to produce light. Our eyes are another prime example, they're able to directly observe and measure electromagnetic radiation; our eyes are processing photon wave particles, which is absolutely amazing! Another example, is how dogs poop along the north-south magnetic lines of earth; seriously, this is why you see them circling when they're trying to poop, because they're orientating their bodies with the earth's magnetic field. Another example, is how dogs are able to calculate the trajectory of a frisbee and catch it in mid air; the ability of a brain to calculate these things on the fly is mind boggling. From simple chemistry, to amino acids, and then progressing all the way to the evolutionary exploitation of quantum mechanics. Absolutely amazing!

The brain, for all intents and purposes, is a quantum machine. Eventually they'll figure out that things like memory are stored using quantum principles too, and when that happens the field of neuroengineering will explode. Just imagine a world full of machines that are made from actual neural tissue. One day your car might need antipsycotics too, maybe then they'll be able to solve that door is a jar delusion :-)
