Thank you so much to both of you. I really appreciate the support; I think my main concern right now is having to approach my mother about the issue. I don't want her to be upset or disappointed. I mean, I know she'll understand because she's a good mom, but. I just don't want to be stuck at home like everyone else in my hometown, and the last thing I want is pity.

How does one deal with that?
