He went to do a fasting test for his job but he drank some tea about 3-4 hours earlier with alot of condensed milk... they checked his sugar and found that it was high. Wasn't it supposed to go down by that time 3-4 hours?

Don't quote me on this as it's been awhile. But I believe your BS peaks at around 2 - 4 hours. This sugar level maybe coming down from a higher number. The best way to avoid becoming diabetic is watching what you eat and get exercise. Otherwise, like me a couple of years ago, you get on meds. Mine seemed to have caused side-effects.
If you really want to have an accurate diagnosis for diabetes. Go to the doctor and have them run an HbA1c after fasting. This is approximately a 3 month average of your blood sugar numbers. I haven't seen the OTC HbA1c in the state I'm in now, but they could be behind the counter at the pharmacy. I don't know their accuracy compared to a blood draw. But might give you a clue if you're that concerned. Take care,
