Oh yes, without a single doubt, I'd say and agree that severe irritable outbursts ARE a big part of BPD. I was obviously born with the much dreaded disorder, suffered it's many symptoms for 30 years, but due to useless Psych Dr's, wasn't actually officially diagnosed until approx. three years ago! That's an awful lot of years to have been known as a 'serial time waster' and an expert 'attention seeker'. But hay ho, 'cos I was, and still am, simply an angry irritable person - plain and simple! That's the latest 'professional experts' diagnosis! It seems that the S.I. which is how I stop myself being irritable/rude or aggressive to other folk, is fine - I'm told the answer is to 'control' myself and in whatever way doesn't matter. Of course it's not just peeps with BPD who are irritable, of course not, anybody can and does get irritated, animals get irritated too. Maybe it's simply the way in which we deal with is questionable. I hate been irritable for much of the time but hay - that's how it is and feels as though it always has been. So yeah, I'm understanding your comments here. HUGZZ xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
