Peanut butter has protein! It also has some vitamins and minerals. Plus it is satiating which is not a bad thing. I mix it in all sorts of stuff my favorite being vanilla ice cream of course it should be 100% peanuts. On the other hand Justin's nut butter packets with honey are better than a handful of m&m's in the afternoon.

I believe in moderation and balance. If you eat meat don't eat beef every day a and don't eat 2 lbs at a sitting. Maybe even just once a week but then you need to compensate with something else. The more restrictive you get the more work it is to figure out. On the other hand remembering to stay as close to the source as possible is not hard at all an much easier than it appears. Well processed food manufacturers would like you to believe it is difficult anyway. Eating is enjoyable! I can't imagine going to some place in a remote country and asking them to accommodate my restricted diet. I mean you can and I'm not saying you shouldn't. I just don't want to. It's stuff of life!
