Here’s a poem I scribbled down this morning to describe what I’m going through now. I never knew I’d fall in love twice in this life – I thought I was lucky for it to happen even once. But, here I am, in love again, and torn. I’ll continually share this series in entries and you should be able to find them all on my profile under the statistics tab. Here’s the first entry. Thanks for reading.
TORN-More Than Words (Entry#1)
You left me longing, both of you
Alone, without anyone
It’s up to me to deal
With the passion that I feel
TORN between the two
My daughter sings as she brushes her teeth
Before the school day starts
Not knowing the twisting deep inside
Her hurting Mommy’s heart
A man can bring you down with such romantic words
He took me up, up, UP!
I thought it would last
But once again he left, alas…
Oh a sweet surrender I feel with Shadow Man!
His face in the dark
Green eyes appreciate my beauty
Through words
Oh the blissful pleasure I know with Joe!
My one and only – to the one I keep my vows
We share a life and treasures
Loving one another more than is allowed
I can’t have you both, and today you both left!
You both said your piece to soothe me – today I’m so bereft
I’ll write, I’ll dream, I’ll be with you – one word at a time
Just know - the both of you - as you carry on today
I love you more than words
There, I said it! Yes, I love two men
My heart is truly torn
So stone, and burn, and sue me
I never knew love to ever scorn
