Also you said she went off her meds & this hit 2 months after that....remember it takes time for the meds to get out of the body system & to get to that point......it could be just the lack of meds causing the manic attack....that happens quite often.......added the PTSD for what ever reason she has the PTSD if it's sexually related (not all PTSD is related to sexual issues...there are other kinds of trauma that can cause it)
I agree with seekersinking slowing down the relationship is a good thing & allowing her to work through her issues in the highest priority.....I don't think that sex in an "I care for you" relationship would be a good thing for someone who has had sexual abuse or trauma even though it's something that many times mania craves.....doesn't mean it's ok or the best thing for them.
