For most of my life I have struggled with self care. I always put everyone elses needs first. When I hit middle age, it suddenly dawned on me, "When does my turn come?" Even then, I did not start to take care of myself. I guess I had to get pretty close to rock bottom before I started to take steps of self care. Even at that point, it did not become a priority. I finally had to hit rock bottom totally before self care became a priority in my life. I needed balance. Balance--a great word. That's all for now. Best wishes.
