I'm so glad I'm not the only one.. My bf had DID too and he always passed out. He either got over it or suppressed them so the alters don't appear anymore. Personally, I feel like my alters are my friends.. They keep me safe and always look out for what's best for me. I'm afraid of telling anyone, even my family, because I'm afraid they'll push me to see a doctor or institutionalize me... Both of which frighten me. I love my alters, I don't want them to go away, even if it does take a toll on me socially and mentally..
