After looking into our insurance further, I will end up paying $1200.00 per year for all of my medication.
Seroquel XR
Effexor XR
Wellbutrin SR
Diazapine
Levothyroxine
Omprazole
I am grateful to have insurance, otherwise I am quite sure that I would be one of the most despondent, depressed individuals one has come to know. The ones we try to help the ones on the streets, the ones who do not have medication to help them with their dis-ease.
They say we have disorders. The scholars who write the DSM are continually evolving, thank the universe for huge miracles. Possibly one day I will not have a disorder, perhaps I will have a disease of the mind.
I say it is a breakdown in our CNS, that our synapses no longer function in the fashion that our bodies need them to function, resulting in a lapse of ability to complete tasks. And the individual who does not get/seek help continues down this path in what is called the snowball effect. And, then one day they have a melt down. This is a life or death dis-ease that we are looking at here.
Just like cancer, our cells no longer work in the fashion that our bodies need them to function. They begin to work against us. Our WBC count increase's attempting to kill off the cells that are attacking however once realized that our own cells have began to work against the very nature of life itself we are devastated. We get ill, very ill and often times do not make it out alive. Another life and death dis-ease that all humanity deals with.
Semantics, they matter! It is only a matter of time, I am out to change a lot of minds, as we do not have disorders we have synapse malfunctions just like cancer patients have cell malfunctions.
Does it matter, yes, mental health really ought to be titled brain health.
Cheers to all, make it a great day!
