I don't know what "more human" means, but humans are human and animals are animals.
Perhaps what you mean is, "Do you antropomorphize animals to include more positive human characteristics than you would attach to the human beings you associate with?"
For me, the answer to that is "No". I Love my sweet kitty and he does adorable things, but he is a kitty and he does kitty things. I just happen to like what he does. But he is most certainly not more human than a human being. He's a kitty.
