Luvox 100mg a day for one year about 20 yrs ago, and free for the most part to where it doesn't affect the people around me! It started as anxiety, loss of appetite, loss of control over my life, wouldn't cross these narrow bridges in Louisiana, wouldn't touch door knobs or get out of house during flu season nor talk to anyone that was sick; which included my sister over the phone 250 miles away due to her children having stomach virus! I was in my second year as a recovering addict and was having my symptoms treated with 5-6 different meds; still wouldn't cross bridge, eat, etc. .. Finally tried my sponsors Dr, who took me off all the meds and put me on Luvox, a new drug at the time. Three days later, I was able to cross bridge! In two weeks, I could do everything my OCD had prevented me from doing! I just needed a Dr that would listen, plus I had just got put on my husband's insurance!! I still have some OCD without the anxiety over small things that don't interfere with my daily life!
