Interesting because when I first started here I lived in Calif & then left my H......moved 2100 miles away....& on one of those nights when I was sitting on my computer....I was reading a post...think it was a comment about a town in Calif.....then I looked at his user name & realized he was referring to a clarinet....with his name......& then went to his profile & sure enough....I sent a PM to him & asked him if he was for sure the guy I was also a music major with at the junior college.....way back in 1970-1972. I had actually dated him as friends way back then & he & his new gf at the time who is now his wife I had invited to my wedding. His daughter who was also about my daughter's age was also on here........he hasn't been on here much as when he got more involved with Facebook, it fit his needs better so we've been conversing over facebook........sad, his daughter died last summer from MRSA & it's complications. His wife is a very wonderful person & they are a very special couple. I had actually lost touch with them over the years.....so it was really wonderful to come to find out that he was who I was thinking he might be.

Also have had a wonderful opportunity to get to know a lady from here....we met here & I got a chance to visit her & her family one New Year's Eve. I am very honored to know have had a chance to meet her & her family before I moved.

It's nice to have people who we have a more personal experience with than just online....but I think when we are real online, we can have very personal experiences even if we don't actually know the person IRL.

PC feels like home after all these years with all the wonderful people I have come to know even if they are just over the internet because they are the real person on the other side.
