Sure thing. It's taking human characteristics and applying them to God, in this case. Using terms we would normally use for humans. (We all do this for animals/pets and such )

Such as asking, Does God change His mind? Well, of course the only "mind" we have reference to is our own, human mind. But the Mind of God is much more than what we can imagine, right? But how else can we portray what we are discussing in that sense without using the word "mind?"
