Feeling another person's pain is what you do when you care about that person. Like, I've read news stories about some kid getting cancer and having to go through chemotherapy, and all his classmates had their heads shaved in solidarity. I need to do at least that much, so I need to be in prison. Plus, I'm a bad person anyway, so I deserve to be there anyway.
