That's really nice to hear. I'm glad there are people like that out there. Insurance doesn't cover therapy here. I don't think many therapists here look at therapy as being a long term process. I don't think many would lower their price by much either. When I mentioned being sad about not being able to afford the help I need, my therapist said "I guess it depends on how entitled you feel." She has actually lowered her price by $25 for me, which is really generous of her, but she knows that it's not low enough for me to continue any more. I've lost one former therapist because I couldn't afford to continue. A couple of weeks back I also finished with someone I saw through the public system free for a limited time and I could never afford to see her privately. It's incredibly hard not to think that I'm just not quite good enough. Yet, I'm always so fond of them...
