I find it so hard to remember when I "move on" that it is probably just as difficult for the people I leave as when people leave me. Other people have their problems and priorities away from us and it's a lot of work to keep a friendship going and active. Any chance your friend will come back, Jenn? I had an unacknowledged argument with a friend of 15+ years that went on for over a year, then I called her and we got back together as if nothing had happened. However, we aren't seeing one another as much as we use to but I've moved too so am farther away and in a different phase of my life, etc. How long were you friends? I'm having a hard time in my new location getting out and meeting people/making friends and all my "old" friends are too far away now for "normal" relationships. I bet you didn't "fail" but that life had other things in store.
