What sort of physical activity do you get? Routine? That is a huge key in not only getting your body to really crave more of what would be good for it, but in getting a handle on depression itself. I'm working on this myself. Got at least a little routine going first thing in the morning in my room, since I'm not in a situation where it is realistic to 'hit the gym' every day.
I know it sounds shallow and oversimplified to say, "Depressed? Go run a mile." But it does help. It just does. Physical activity is crucial to moods and the brain. The key is not in finding one that you like but at least in one you don't hate, and just git er dun. It will take a while to be able to make it a smooth routine, but consider the alternative...
