Well... both of my major attempts have been with pills & the most recent one would have succeeded had I not been found. Personally I believe painless suicide is within reach now. Perhaps you just haven't hit on the right methodology yet?

Oh, & while we're on the subject, a couple of posters mentioned guns. People think guns are a surefire ticket to the promised land. Well, they're not. Certainly they can be. But using a gun can also go array. And when it does, the results can be really disgusting! I know because I've worked with people who thought a gun was their ticket to paradise...
