I had a party for my daughter's birthday yesterday and of course I messed everything up. Nobody showed up due to my poor planning. The party was planned at the very last minute and I didn't make sure all of the guests would show up. So at the party yesterday I find out that two of them didn't even know about it. Those that did know didn't show up. I feel so, so bad, words can't even describe. I don't know how I messed up so bad. My mother said that I shouldn't feel bad about it at all and my daughter was ok. She did say that she wished more of her friends came and when I told her it was my fault that her party was messed up she said that she knew lol. She and her brother had fun and she wasn't mad at me, but that doesn't change how awful, inadequate and guilty I feel. I really, really need to get myself together.
