My friend and I started our own cleaning business...Essentially all we did was extend a license from her other business. So far we have gotten one client, people that hire us to clean for only one hour every two weeks. So I mean, our business is making $15 every two weeks, $30 a month. Naturally we have to have other jobs to keep afloat! I've been trying to think of ways to increase our business so my friend and I passed out a hundred flyers to apartment complexes. It cost us $5 for the stack of 100. Despite a glossy flyer, no one called. My next plan is to go to entrepreneur meet up groups. I am very poor but is it worth it to make the sacrifice of $10 for 250 business cards to pass out at the entrepreneurs meeting or will I just end up losing my $10 on the business cards again do you think?
