It's true it's a huge city, but it's much more conservative on monogamy than I've actually could comprehend. Poly relationships aren't out of the question here, just it's much more prevalent that many women aren't like that. There is a community, but it's really small compared to other cities in the US that are more friendlier to it. Most of the poly relationships here are like men and women in their 40's 50's 60's and so on. If there is younger people, I doubt it, but it doesn't stop me though. I haven't been around anyone who supports this. I don't want marriage mainly because it's not needed. I'd rather go without the benefits and have the relationship on love not for the reason for financial stuff. That's how I roll with that. People are different, I just get so much crap from it and surprisingly the gay community and friends I know who have friends that are lesbians mostly or gay guys talk **** to my face and expect me to have a homosexual relationship if I am poly. I'm not required for that, that's not me. It literally bugs me when anyone throws that ignorance around and expects me to take it no. I'm not, I know what I want and comfortable. I had enough hookups and dating relationships to know I am not monogamous whatsoever. I just tolerate it. It is hard sometimes, but thanks everyone for the answers.
