I'm in a similar position to The_Little_Didgee, I was late diagnosed which left me both relieved and annoyed. I saw several psychiatrists during my teens because of 'troubled behaviour' and bouts of 'depression' but not one of them picked up on it.

I can't imagine what it would be like for my parents to have known and not told me, I can only imagine I would have been very very angry at them for withholding that information.
