I wish I could be more cavalier but I desperately need a job - - as much to relive my boredom and feelings of uselessness as for the money. I ended up calling the office manager and left a voicemail inquiring as to whether an offer had been made. Now I realize at this point, I just need to wait for a return call or rejection letter.

I have a few other irons in the fire, but I really want this particular job. I have been reminded by friends that if it's meant to be it'll be. Sounds cliché, but I'm trying to have that mindset at this point.
