I know these types of visits are terribly difficult. On days like that I go early to check in and then go to the restroom to practice calming breathing exercises before heading to my T's office. It helps a lot. The other night I didn't have the time for that and I paid for it. My whole session felt disconnected and I couldn't focus, I was too scared. Maybe try some deep breathing and see if it helps?
