If you are not in the midst of any medically recognizable mood state then I'm betting its the meds.
Side effects don't always manifest immediately, but akasthesia has been recorded to become permanent in some cases when the med in question was not dropped.

she actually was leaning heavily towards a hypomanic or mixed mood state. I brought up the possibility of akaythesia and she said it was "possible". I am just HOPING it is akaysthesia because if this is going to be one of my mood states I am deeply worried. I am new to Bipolar 1 with marked mania/hypomania though I 've been depressed on and off for years. Again, I am actually scared that "jumping out of skin" is caused by a mood state. Ugh, that is awful to have to worry about it happening again. Today is much better, though.
