That sounds a lot like me before I started going to therapy and went on medication. Up, down, horrible highs and lows. It's getting better now a bit at a time. Most definitely get checked out by a psychiatrist, life is too short to live like that. I still don't know if it's bipolar II (they said it might be) but I know things are beginning to level off and that's nice.
PS I used to throw all kinds of stuff, too.
