I am most definitely Hypomanic ATM. It started a couple of days ago.

I'm wondering if it could be brought on by the reduction in my effexor ?

I mean could it be just a temporary glitch because of the chemical changes ?

I reduced my effexor from 150mg to 112.5mg 7 days ago after chatting to my Pdoc. My tegretol levels are perfect and I'm doing way better on it than on the Lithium.

When he asked how I was doing on the scale I said I thought I was midline but DH said he thought I was a little over midline ( so still slightly high ).

The only difference is I do seem to have some control, I'm seeing my self destruction and managing to to curb it if only a little.

Just curious if anyone else has experienced a med change induced episode ?
