Totally relate to this after today....I grew up believing I could achieve my dreams, so I went out and tried, but failed because "life happens." Got a beautiful daughter out of it all though and a family that loves me, but had to wave goodbye to grad school in order to provide. Now I'm stuck halfway to where I want to be and with the potential to do it, but not the right situations/circumstances. So I'm left doing whatever work I can find with a B.A in Psych (which is very limited in the city of 2,000 people where I live) because no other job pays enough for me to pay my student loans which are just as much as my rent currently. Needless to say that my current employer has become dissatisfied with my performance, which means that I get to put even more unwanted effort into this job if I want to make sure my family is fed and we stay out of debt.
