If everybody who lost keys would be declared keys than the whole planet (at least the key carrying portion of it) would be.

Now imagine locking yourself out your dormitory room with old t-shirt from now bankrupt stock market broker company, underpants with a toilet paper in your hand... in early early morning (fortunatelly a cleaning lady came, because i was worried I would have to ask somebody for clothes and walk several streets to another building to get the keys). So it always could be worse and more embarrassing
