I agree with winter4me. I have no experience with a hip fracture but I have had 3 hip replacements and 1 dislocated a month out of surgery. If you do have a fracture and it does not heal the way it should you will start to get arthritis in that joint as you age. With what winter4me said with your range of motion...if you do start to lose range of motion it will be permeate. After they replace a hip joint if they can get you up walking that same day after surgery they will and that is 100% for not losing range of motion. Also know that your hips are the largest most load bearing joint in your body. So ask your self, whats more important...saving money by not going to get it checked out or paying money to make sure you are healthy. You really cant put a price tag on your health....
