So, when I first got diagnosed with MS, I checked out an MS support board (which was sooo depressing, I haven't been back) but there was one guy who used a lot of humor, and one of the things he said was "Its better to look good then feel good." He was making light of feeling terrible all the time, but lately I've really taken that to heart, and it's helping.....

I notice that when I take 20 minutes to throw on a bit of eye makeup and make sure my hair looks ok, and put on an outfit that doesn't look slept in, that I FEEL better. On days I want to be scrubby, I feel worse and lazier. Granted I still take those days....but I seem to actually feel better physically and mentally when I look prsentable. I'm definetly NOT high maintenence by any means.....20 minutes is usually all I spend on looking better.

My friends got me a gift card for 6 eyebrow waxes and I love the days when I go in and get pampered for 5 minutes.

So.....my question in this thread is, what do you do to make yourself feel better? What sort of things do you do to pamper yourself?

Oh, another thing I do is put a little olive oil in my baths....skin feels soooo smooth after, and its much cheaper then the expensive bath oils in the beauty isle.
