Yikes! I saw the heading and my first thought was... They do arranged marriages in India quite successfully. But there the parents are very careful about making sure they are compatible. This is something very different. You don't have to get married to have children. It's nice but not required. Having healthy children in your 40's is not at all uncommon anymore. You need to know why your mother couldn't have more children. Perhaps it isn't hereditary or maybe they have treatments. I really wouldn't assume. And if you don't know if you want to spend your life with any man... Geez what a miserable situation that would be! Believe me that senior citizen could live a lot longer than you anticipate. Gosh... The thought leaves me cold.

Screw that. Find an immigrant. Then it could be a pure business relationship. Have the kid and get divorced. I'm KIDDING! Both your "options" lock you into something for a very long time. Potentially for life. Please don't waste your life like that.
