I live in the UK & I'm a member of a union - not sure if anyone on PC is familiar with unions in the UK. Anyway, I've been trying to get in touch with mine for almost three weeks but try as I might, I'm not getting a response (I want to know if I have a legal case for unfair dismissal from work).

I've emailed, left messages, done absolutely EVERYTHING but the person I want to get in touch with just ignores the lot! I'm really desperate for advice as my employment tribunal case deadlines are approaching fast, and it just makes me want to cry that this person is SO heartless & unprofessional that he continues to ignore all requests for an urgent response. Btw I don't know this person & he doesn't know me (he only knows my name).
What shall I do ?
Another person in the union has also tried to contact him on my behalf & he also ignores their emails etc. I can't understand why he would treat me this way - do u think it could be because I have a foreign name & he doesn't want to help me (I can't think of any other reason )
