It's pretty common in the BDSM community. You really have to not see it as "daddy" "daughter". It's more a case of a dominant personality and "little" personality. Each also has characteristics of an adult and child. The dominant is nurturing and protective and the submissive escapes to a place of innocence where they enjoy being taken care of.
