I agree with Rhapsody on this. While most of the media loves gossip, scandals and tragedies, celebrities are well aware of this, it's part of the territory.
Sadly, this is the lifestyle, the attention she chose (as well as other celebrities do) she has gone in re-hab one day and then signs herself out and repeats this.
If she truly wants to re-hab and change it's only her decision, she cannot go in and out for treatment, not like it and then walk out, like a revolving door.
I do not follow the stars and their stories so I apologize if I'm off on this Britney Spears thing, but wasn't her parents that got her all into this world, or at least encouraged it? Something is strange when parents get their daughters breast implants to gain public popularity, kind of a snippet of how unstable they are, and that you can't blame the media on.
It's a crazy world, people do and say just about anything to seek attention, celebrities do have ways of staying out of the media if they so desire. Ever see and hear about a star and then you do not after awhile? They pull away, and have means to stay out of the media's eyes/cameras.
For her sake, I hope she gets her life together, gets treatment and follows it too.
Sometimes it is ourselves that have to accept blame for our actions, and not be pointing fingers at others.
Simon, I understand your point, but there is always the other side(s) to a story.
I think she and her family have a lot of growing up to do.
Stardom can make and/or break a person, a famous star is one that knows when to take a bow, and if they are not capable it's really up to those closest to them to help guide them off the "stage".
Just my opinion on this ongoing Britney saga, with no intentions of offending anyone here.
