Thank you for your advice. I think this person is relatively high, defo above the branch secretary but there are ppl higher than him.

Eventually, I had to pay a lawyer for advice - I have now lodged a formal complaint about this person (it was the last thing I wanted to do as its really stressful taking a previous employer to a tribunal, without having to also deal with a formal complaint to a union - really didn't need that).
