I completely believe that sometimes therapy does not work for a person and that it is NOT the fault of the person. Therapy is not going to help every person and it is not because the person is doing anything wrong. I think it is also possible to need to interview than 21 therapists before they find the right one. I have interviewed over 30 some odd of them this last go around and found 2 I could tolerate. I am having an interesting experiment, but I would not say they are particularly useful for what I originally sought therapy for and certainly most therapy is not a efficient way of resolving anything that I have seen. I also found CBT to be worthless, patronizing and pointless for me. It is a method some others find useful.
