I hate to say this, but you are going to wind up with your medical records scatttered everywhere if you have to keep seeking help because of your condition. I'll bet that I gave out releases in at least ten different places, including doctors, Social Security (twice), voc rehab and drug assistance programs. That is just the way it is. Think about it this way...your company's pdoc is bound by all the same rules and regulations that your own pdoc is. Also, wouldn't you want their doc looking at your doc's DX, rather doing one himself?
This is my own opinion, but if you're needing help, I would think you would be as co-operative as possible. If you give them what they need to do their jobs, you have a much better chance of getting help in a timely manner.
Hope this helps.
