well said jmo.
regarding the hair incident, i was reading in the same article (this article was on the Daily Mail's uk website) that she shaved her hair after a row with her ex - Kevin Federline. he told her he was going to fight for the kids and do all he could too, and he accused her of being on drugs and requested that he has a hair molecule (or something like that) so test can be done and apparently she said "i would rather shave my hair off than let anyone touch it!". as far as i am aware this is the reason she did it.
thats interesting about the Anna-Nicole Smith video story, it kind of pieces things together in a slight way.
i cant imagine how stressful being famous is. i know what you mean, darkeyes, about the entertained issue. i agree that this is why we as a society adore the celebrity lifestyle. it is only really in the last 10 years that this obsession with celebs has really taken off. i wish it was just about music, or the latest film out, or latest program, nott he people themselves. its worrying, i want to get into music but this whole fame issue is daunting. i dont want that level of fame, i dont want to sell my soul to make money, yet i wantt he world to hear my music...so its all about sacrifices and compromises...some people can sacrifice their lives and soul to make so much money, or to have their music heard, its a tricky question though - especially as i want everyone to hear my music and hear my voice, yet i dont want to be seen. i dont need fame, money, attention, just to help others through music, and admittedly this is a scary thing, but what can you do?
anyway, i didnt start this post to talk about me, i stated it to hear your opinions on Britney and her latest downfall...do any of you think she is beyond help now, do you think she may take her life like shes threatening? i dont....i dont 1: think she is beyond help, at all. and 2: i dont think she will kill herself, as she has family around her that are trying their hardest to help her, and if she continues this stint in rehab then she should be ok given time. i just wish she was allowed privacy, if not forever, just for as long as she needs to get her life back on track. she has made mistakes, but which human hasnt, that doesnt mean we arent allowed that second chance to try again.
