My freshman year I was determined to drop out, but then a very wise young woman convinced me not to...and I am so so very glad that she did.
I understand. I was bullied as well. It's one of the hardest things to deal with on top of the stress of school and life and everything else. One of the things that helped me is realizing that they are only stepping on you because inside they are incredibly insecure themselves. Try being genuinely nice to them, or if it's a group of kids (which it usually is), they are more vulnerable alone. So find one of them when he/she is not with "the pack" and talk to him/her, or give him/her a note. It could be a serious note saying something like "___ is what I'm going through right now, please stop" or a humorous note with something like "I know you think I'm an amazing person, but there are other ways to show it other than making me want to cry everyday"
A lot of times bullies have absolutely NO IDEA the kind of feelings they are causing in their victim. They just like the way it makes them feel powerful and "look cool". Thats all. So why not tell them. But do it one-on-one with just one of them.
And most importantly...DO NOT, my dear, do not let them steal your life. You can do this! Don't give up, stay strong my friend. I believe in you!
