I once tried for racewalking. Then all sorts of hardships interfered, and I never went back to the track. I walked one mile under 15 mins, while trying to follow the very difficult rules and constraints of racewalking. The judge told me that I was promising, since my first mile wS under 15 mins. Just one mile. And you walked much more!
