I have had cats in the past and my P'doc makes the occasional reference to my getting another cat, but the landlord doesn't allow pets. I don't know if we are allowed service pets in Australia. |

There's a distinction between assistance animals and emotional support animals. If you have the latter, you don't have any legal rights, but you can put a request to your landlord.
