Bugsy reminds me of my Jack Russell Terrier, Cleo. She's always by my side. When I'm upset, she acts really silly to make me laugh, when I wake up crying from a nightmare, she licks the tears off my cheeks and I give her a hug. When I don't feel like doing anything and I'm sitting there like a couch potato, she somehow encourages me to play. She gets me out of the house when I can't muster up the strength to go. When she's scared by thunder, I hide under the bed with her and we can be scared together. When fireworks are going off, I'll whisper softly in her ear. When she is sick, I'll nurse her back to health. I found an emotional companion and a best friend in my dog.
