I used to scratch my hands or even head sometimes when I got stressed or was freaking out. Can you try and hurt something else, like a pillow or stomp on the ground? Something that has personally helped me, was to keep a pen and a piece of paper with me, and when I got stressed, I would make a square and color it in. That has saved me from hurting myself at school many times.
